ACCEPTABLE USE

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
To participate in a course, please be aware of the following requirements:

PAYMENT
To secure your booking on a course, payment is required and must be received before the commencement of the course. See ‘Cancellations and Refunds’ below for more details.  

Oceania Rescue is willing to discuss alternative booking arrangements on a case-by-case basis with private group bookings.

LIABILITY RELEASE
All participants will be required to sign the liability release form. International students will require appropriate insurance to cover water activities.

MEDICAL
All participants are required to be physically fit and must be a confident swimmer (excluding theory only classes). Participants are also required to disclose any pertinent medical conditions that may impact their training experience. Notification is required at the time of booking via the booking form. This may include learning difficulties or pregnancy.

USI NUMBER for AUSTRALIAN STANDARD UNITS
Where the client requires qualification from Australian Standard Units, Oceania Rescue will require participants to have a USI number, prior to course commencement. Participants can register for their Unique Student Identifier (USI) number at the website: www.usi.gov.au.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
We provide refunds for our services as follows:

CANCELLATION POLICY- INDIVIDUALS (OPEN/ PUBLIC COURSES)
If the booking is cancelled by the client more than THREE WEEKS (21 days or more) prior to the course commencement, the full course fee will be refunded. After that, receive a 50% course credit. No refund will be given within 7 days of the course commencing.

CANCELLATION POLICY- GROUP BOOKINGS (CLOSED/ PRIVATE COURSES)
If the booking is cancelled by the client more than ONE MONTH (30 days or more) prior to the course commencement, then the full course fee will be refunded. After that, receive a 50% course credit. No refund will be given within 14 days of the course commencing.

OCEANIA RESCUE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR CHANGE VENUES FOR THE TRAINING IN RELATION TO SAFETY AND SUITABILITY FOR TRAINING PURPOSES, INCLUDING IF MINIMUM NUMBERS ARE NOT MET.
